6th Commonwealth Nurses and Midwives Conference

in partnership with the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses

Conference 2024 Information

We currently live in a troubled world: natural disasters; extreme climate events; internal and external conflicts and wars; mass migration of people seeking a better and safer life for themselves and their families, as well as major health inequalities across the world as demonstrated by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.

In every country, nurses and midwives are facing these challenges themselves, or supporting individuals and communities affected by challenges to their health and wellbeing; and they are doing so with determination, innovation, compassion, and integrity.

The 6th Commonwealth Nurses and Midwives Conference is an opportunity, in an international forum, for nurses and midwives, or nursing and midwifery groups, associations or institutions to ‘show the way’ they are meeting the challenges and contributing to global health and wellbeing for individuals and communities across the lifespan in all settings.
